A picture perfect day to start the Fall 2021 regatta season in Central Ohio! 20 teams made their way to Columbus to take part in the Thomas Worthington Invitational to enjoy 87 degrees, sunny skies and 15 knot breezes consistently from the SSW all day long. Gunnar Gode (NAHS) and his expert race committee team kept the pace brisk with little down time completing 9A/9B races before the 4pm deadline. When the spray settled, Bay HS finished 1st and 2nd with St. Ignatius/Hathaway Brown mixed team finishing 3rd.
A quick show of hands in the beginning of the day showed 30 kids sailing in their first HS Sailing regatta in attendance!
Thanks to all that made this a great start to the 2021 season! It was great to see all of our friends again.
