2022 MASSA Fall Girls Invitational Championship

Summary

Saturday, November 5:

Great conditions on the Potomac River today; sunny, temps in the 70's, felt like summer. Racing started around 1115 and we did 2 sets of 5 races each in a beautiful southerly, winds ranging from 6-15 knots, mostly around 9-11 knots. All courses were W4. Thanks to the Georgetown Sailing Team members for their excellent Race Committee work along with hearing protests.

Sunday, November 6:

Sunday started out with similar wind; 6-13 knots from the South. We were able to rattle off 5 more races and then in for rotation/break. We came out and had one more race before the wind died out. Overall great sailing in this 16-race series; congratulations to Hotchkiss School's Samara Walshe/Lucy Jervis for a convincing win in this competitive event and much thanks to the Georgetown U. Sailing Team for helping host and run the event.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
