2022 PCISA Single-handed District Champs ILCA 6

Summary

Saturday, September 24:

Ran 5 races, all W-L twice around with gates. Wind started at 6 knots out of 320 with the tail end of the flood. Current switched during race 2 to end the day with a full on ebb. Breeze settled in around 290 and built to 15 knots by race 5. 6 General Recalls. No protests filed. Thank you to the PY High School sailors and parents for helping to run the races!

Sunday, September 25:

Five races again today in similar conditions. 3 races in 6-8 knots and a flood. The last 2 races of the day were in an ebb and breeze built to 15 knots. A big thank you to the PYSF sailors, parents and coaches for running races. And to Bryan McDonald, John Vandemoer, Greg Meagher and Andrew Rist for being on call for protests! Congrats to the sailors advancing to Nationals (and so cool to see sailors from Park City make the trek!!).
