The day started out with light winds from the northeast. The first race had a wind shift after the start which allowed competitors to lay the first mark on a single tack. The wind then began to slowly clock around to the south which prompted a postponement to allow for a solid fill. The next race had almost steady breeze in a 6 knot Southerly. The wind continued to go southwest and increase to 9 knots providing the last few races in near perfect conditions. Each division completed 3 races followed by a pizza party on shore. Competitors departed a little after 4:30pm. A successful day after a challenging and sometimes frustrating morning.
