NESSA Fall FunFest (Gleekman Trophy)

The Fall FunFest (Glickman trophy) began in very light, just barely sailable, ENE wind. AS the day progressed the wind shifted North about 20 degrees and slowly built to a pattern of about 7 - 9 MPH variation in pressure and right and left shifts of 10 degrees. Courses were W-4 for the first race of each set and W-3 for the second race. Six races were completed in each division. My thanks to Joe Griffin from Hingham and Ben Chwalk from Barrington for their help on the signal boat. All fouls were exonerated on the racecourse and no protests were filed. Racing at the top was close at the top for most of the day, with only 3 points separating first from fourth going in to the last two sets. When the scores settled Barrington was the winner, followed by Lincoln Academy, Sharon, and Duxbury.
