We had a great South-Southeast wind today for the SSA MDISA Fleet Race. The day started off with about 6knots of breeze and slowly built to a steady 13-15 knots by the end of the day here in Annapolis. Our Race Committee consisting of Jim Urban, Bonnie Urban, Jay Herman, Tim Herzog, Arjan Van Andel, Bryan Stout, and Ian Conners did a phenomenal job setting a great racecourse. Each race was between 13-15 minutes long with great upwind beats. There were some oscillating shifts throughout the day but the Race Committee handled it very well. We were able to get off a total of 16 total races throughout the day. Congratulations to Severn School for winning the regatta. Spalding and Leonardtown rounded out the top 3.
