Summary

Saturday, September 17:

It was a beautiful mid-September day at Toms River Yacht Club for the eleven NJISA high schools, making up fourteen teams, to compete in the Back-to-School regatta.

There were light oscillating winds from the ENE which eventually settled into an easterly 5-8 mph breeze Six W4 races in each division were completed.

The CBA Colts Team 2 of Bryce Vitiello, Luke Pennisi, Christopher Small and Nick Cunha had a good day with both of their divisions recording consistent top five finishes in each race for a total of 27 points. The CBA Colts Team 1 of Noah Kuzloski, Daniel Stephan, Mitchell Hnatt and Kyle Lombardino finished in second place with 34 points and the Southern Regional Rams team of Turner Ryan, Natalie Shaw, Erin Little and Noah Tallman rounded out the top three places with 48 points.

As always, many thanks to TRYC and BBYRA for the use of their facilities and boats, as well as all the friends that support high school sailing in NJISA.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
