A cool, breezy day was in store for the 11 teams that descended on Hoover Sailing Club (coincidently, all 11 teams were from Columbus!). New Albany Parent Gunnar Gode kept everyone on their toes and completed 8 races in each division before the 4pm cut off time. There were several breakdowns in the breeze and one protest that resulted in a DSQ in race 3A, otherwise, racing went off without a hitch. Several teams wore out by the end of the day with winds reaching the low 20s by the end of the regatta.
When the spray settled, Olentangy Berlin came back and won in the last set of the regatta. Congrats to all of the sailors that persevered. A special thanks to Dave Alvarado (WNHS Alumni) for managing all things off the water!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
