SAISA North Points #2 was sailed on October 22 at Crosswinds Boating Center on beautiful tree lined Jordan Lake near Raleigh NC. Twenty-four teams, 13 Varsity and 11 JV / Composite, from NC, SC, and GA sailed eight races in 3-7 knots out of the North. The wind conditions provided an excellent test for the sailors and resulted in tight racing and many close finishes on the WL twice around course. Hoggard from Wilmington area sailed consistent all day winning first place overall (A tied for 2nd , B 1st). James Island from Charleston area finished 2nd overall (A 4th, B 2nd ) and Beckham from Charleston area third place (A 1st, B 4th ). In the JV division Hoggard finished first, New Bern finished 2nd and Epiphany finished 3rd. Thanks to the many volunteers who helped both on the water and onshore to put on a first-class high school regatta.
