Thomas Worthington Invitational

Summary

Saturday, September 10:

An amazing day on the water to kick off the 2022 fall HS Sailing season in Columbus OH with 19 teams from across the state joining us! Temps in the 80s, winds in the 5-12 knot range and superb race committee work from Gunnar Gode (NAHS Parent) kept everyone on their toes and moving through the day. 9 races in each division, no breakdowns, no protests. Many people go into making these events go off without a hitch, special thanks to Steve and Beth Newbauer (OHS parent) for managing the feeding of over 100 sailors, Tricia Mahoney (TWHS Parent) for making registration go as smooth as silk and our fearless leader Jamie Jones (SFD Parent) for leading this group for many years!

Congrats to Dublin Coffman for winning their first HS regatta ever!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
