16 teams representing 13 local schools competed on Mill Creek in a beautiful sunny fall day with winds of 5-8 wind mph SSW and higher gusts. Seas were flat. The race committee jostled the course a few times choosing the center of for multiple significant oscillations.
Teams were a mix of varsity and JV sailors. Seven races in each of two divisions were accomplished on a W-4 course. Grafton Team 1 took first place, followed by Maury Team 1 in second, and the Hague School in third place. Of note, Maury's Team 1 B division scored five bullets in seven races.
One protest was brought to land, Grafton v Maury 2. The protest was disallowed.
