2023 PCISA/ISSA All Girls National Invitational

Summary

Saturday, October 14:

Saturday saw perfect racing conditions on Mission Bay, with 8-13 kts of NW breeze, and only a couple course adjustments required all day. Eight races were completed for each division for a total of 16 races, wrapping up the day at around 1800. Ebb current for most of the day, flooding at the end, was an interesting feature of the day's racing. No breakdown issues delayed racing or impacted results.

Sunday, October 15:

Sunday's Day Two racing saw more perfect conditions, with a little less pressure at 7-11 kts SW; but also a couple degrees warmer, sunny in the mid 70s. Four more sets were conducted; two each for A and B division. All races all weekend were two laps W/Ls. Big thanks to Mission Bay Yacht Club for providing an excellent 24 boat fleet, and congratulations to the 2023 PCISA/ISSA Girls National Invitational Champions, Corona Del Mar!!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
