We cannot control the weather, but we can adjust our sails. Sunday started out cloudy with breeze ranging from 6 to 10 knots. At around 11AM, heavy rain began, and during the second A division race, lightning struck land nearby. Sailors, staff, and coaches made it safely to land in a timely manner.
Following some discussion, it was decided with the location of the cell and impending lightning strikes, it would not be feasible to complete enough races between two divisions before tide ran out.
