Arnold Brown Regatta

Summary

Saturday, September 12:

Beautiful day for racing and the breeze held up for most of the day, although course modifications took up a decent amount of time. 6 races were completed in both divisions, teams were off the water by 430, and headed to the Vineyard ferries. No protest were filed and the respectfulness of the competitors was a highlight of the day.

Congratulations to Tabor for winning the 2026 Arnold Brown, and East Greenwich for qualifying for the Roy Williams Invitational.

Thank you to Sail MV and the MVRHS sailing team for hosting. Big thanks to Sail Martha's Vineyard Executive Director, Andy Nutton, who kept things running smoothly on shore and quickly handled a few breakdowns.

Good luck to everyone with the rest of the fall events, and thank you for making the trip to MV. Best, A. Burr

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
