Sharon High School hosted the Fall Fun Fest on a beautiful sunny day with temps in the high sixties. The wind was 5 - 8 MPH for the most part with excursions of 2 to 12. Wind direction was variable to say the least. The first races were NE moving right. By the next three sets we were back and forth from ENE to east. Races 5A and 6A were restarted after dramatic shifts and delays as the race committee tried to get a stable course. Both races saw significant lulls with eratic wind directions. The last two races for the B division saw reasonabley steady East wind. 6 races were completed in each division with St. Georges, Brunswick and Greens Farm taking the top three places and getting automatic berths to the Roy Williams. Several other teams earned resume berths to the RW with solid finishes in this regatta. Thanks to Chris Conley of Tabor for helping on the signal boat and a special shout out to Matt Johnson of Sharon who moved marks more times than anyone should ever have to in one day.
