MISSA West Great Oaks Qualifier

Saturday brought very shifty conditions to Pewaukee Lake, keeping the Race Committee on their toes with frequent mark adjustments to maintain a fair course. Despite the challenging breeze, seven races were completed between 10:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. in 5-8mph SSE winds. A huge thank you to PRO A.J. Schweda and his Race Committee team of Bob Beres, Jim Blackwood, Steven Boemer, Jeff Surles, and Jill Weinshel for keeping the racing moving throughout the day. One request for redress was heard and denied by Chief Judge Anne Muller.

Sunday arrived with picture-perfect conditions on Pewaukee Lake. A 12-18 mph NW breeze gave spectators a front-row seat to the action, with racing taking place right in front of the club. While the wind direction was more consistent than Saturday, puffy conditions kept sailors on their toes throughout another eight races. Another big thank you to PRO A.J. Schweda and his Race Committee team of Bob Beres, Jim Blackwood, Allison Blackwood, Steven Boemer, Bill Goggins, and Jeff Surles for another great day of racing. No protests or redresses were filed.
