Saturday: Sunny skies and cool temps (although after this winter, 50's felt pretty nice) greeted the sailors as they arrived at the Tabor Sailing Center this morning. Racing commenced quickly at 0945 in a shifty northwesterly that forced the RC to and the sailors to work. Around race 5B, the breeze went west and then southwest as the day wore on. Race 5B was abandoned and re-sailed on a RC error. There was one protest resulting in a DSQ. Racing was tight with so many good teams at one sight and the final results came down to the last race. Congratulations to the top five schools (Tabor Academy, Martha's Vineyard RHS, St George's School, Portsmouth Abbey - who finished 2-2 in the last two races to climb into 4th place, and Cape Cod Academy), who qualified to move on to the O'Day finals tomorrow in Newport, RI.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
