Sailing got under way shortly before 1100 in a gusty easterly. Unseasonably good weather greeted sailors with temperatures in the upper 50's and blue skies. Races got underway in a combined division fleet utilizing WSC's twelve 420's on a windward/leeward twice around course. After 4 races, sailing stopped for a delicious warm meal inside the clubhouse. Racing resumed after lunch and continued until shortly before 1600 with 12 races sailed for the day. A huge thanks to our Alum Brain Hickman for running races and all his on the water helpers including Matt Berger, Jeff Hope, John Stump, Shaun Dalton and Jean Wilson. And an equally big thanks to all the help on shore from Elsa Lemoine, Kristen Hope, Jean Wilson, Alison Rose-Ped and Heather Jenkins.
