Wind conditions were light from the North at the beginning of the event. After sailing two races in A division B division was unable to get any races off as the wind continued to lighten and clock to the West. All boats returned to shore for lunch. Racing resumed approximately 1300 with light winds from the South-West. The sea breeze eventually came in around 1430 and racing was very good with South winds at about 8 kts.
The staff at Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club were wonderful and their race committee did an excellent job managing the race course in very trying wind conditions. Course changes were made in a timely manner and the race committee was very diligent in making sure we had fair and fun regatta.
