Crossroads Regatta

Summary

Saturday, March 19:

Ten local teams came to the US Sailing Center Martin County for the first ever Crossroads Regatta. 5 races were contested on the Indian River Lagoon in a building southerly breeze. Racing got off to a great start but was unfortunately delayed and later canceled due to severe weather in the area. The fleet of club 420s were outfitted with matched sails from the sailing center, and spent the day sailing windward leeward courses with an offset leg and gate. Congratulations goes out to the Oxbridge Academy Thunderwolves for placing first, finishing 6 points ahead of second placed Jensen Beach High School. One protests were heard, resulting in no action.

A huge thanks goes out to all the members of Crossroads Yacht Club for making this event happen. From volunteers, to support boats and spectator boats, the membership went out of their way to make this event. We hope to see this event return and grow next year.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
