NJISA Spring 2016 Fleet #6

Summary

Wednesday, May 25:

Ten NJISA high schools, making up eleven high school sailing teams, finally got to enjoy long overdue sunny skies, 80° temperatures and a nice 8-10 mph westerly breeze for a Wednesday series regatta. The beautiful weather did result in more boat traffic on the water than usual, so there was some occasional powerboat chop through the course, but it was an otherwise perfect day on the Toms River. Eight races were sailed, four W4 courses in each division.

Congratulations to the The Ranney School Panthers for their 13 point first place finish. The Southern Rams were close behind in second with 17 points and the Donovan Griffins rounded out the top three with 37 points.

Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed the beautiful weather and as always, many thanks to Toms River Yacht Club and Ocean County College for the use of the facilities and fleet of boats.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
