Racing commenced promptly at 0945 in shifty 8-12 knot conditions. 10 sets of races were completed. Breakdown and protests were heard promptly by judging panel. Sailing was completed for the day after 7:00pm. Competitors were notified of a change in the start time for Sunday to 0830. Notification was posted to the tech score site, hailed on the dock at the days completion, and posted to the official notice board.
One additional set of races were completed today in light, shifty conditions. After that set, the competitors were postponed to shore waiting for breeze to fill in. A Division was sent out for an attempt to start another set of racing before the cut off time, but the breeze did not fill. The regatta was finished at 3:00. Fantastic job done by PRO Dan Rhode in tough conditions.
