Sailors arrived at 9:00 to a glassy, rainy East River. After a brief on-shore postponement, the first race began at 11:30 with a northwesterly wind of about 8 mph and 1.5 knots of current. Around 14:00, there was a shift to a southwest and the wind increased to 15 mph, with 2.2 knots of current. Five races were completed in each division and all races were completed by 17:30. Congratulations to Christian Brothers Academy for winning the regatta and and the Maritime Sailing Team members for helping run a great event!
