Christchurch School, under the direction of coach Isaac Clark and assistant coach Peter Kempe, hosted a fine regatta on Sat. March 26, 2016. Northerly winds with some shifts varied from 1-13 mph with gusts to 15, presenting with a low midday, and the highest winds later in the afternoon. Seas varied from flat to bumpy with some chop presenting just as the racing concluded. Sixteen teams from 13 schools competed in fleet racing on a W-4 course, completing 6 races in each division. With the hometown advantage, Christchurch School Team 1 took first place, Norfolk Collegiate Team 1 captured second place, and Norfolk Academy took third place.
