On this beautiful Saturday in May, 13 teams from 11 schools met for the annual VISA Leukemia Cup Regatta at Christchurch School on the Rappahannock River. Sailors were greeted with shifty West, NW, North, SW winds at 3-10 mph with gentle gusts throughout the day. Seas were calm.

Race format was a combination of W-4 and W-3. Sailors completed 6 races in each of 2 divisions.

Christchurch School Team 1 took first place in the regatta, followed by Christchurch School Team 2 in second, Norfolk Collegiate School Team 1 in third place, and York High School in fourth place. The annual Leukemia Cup first place trophy was awarded to Christchurch school. Norfolk Collegiate School took the trophy for the second place school, and York High School earned the trophy for the third place school.
