27 teams in Gold and 26 teams in Silver enjoyed a great regatta at ABYC during Super Bowl weekend. Saturday featured steady 10-12 knot breeze that started early and blew all day, allowing PRO Allie Blecher and her awesome crew of volunteers to run 10 races. Sunday dawned grey, misty, and glassy, but with ten races in the bag, the RC was able able to wait for a light but contestable 5 knot sea breeze to filter in and allow both divisions to run three more races. Trophies were wrapped up by 3:45, so most sailors and parents were able to make it home to watch the second half of one of the best Super Bowls in recent memory! Thanks to our host venue, Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, and to all of the parents and volunteers from Poly and Wilson who helped make things run smoothly. Next stop: San Diego Yacht Club, for our final SoCal on March 25-26th.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
