Ten teams participated in the Lake Norman Open Regatta. Wind was too light to sail at the beginning of the day and teams enjoyed socializing with each other. Teams also had paddle opti races while waiting for wind to fill in. A nice 7 knot breeze finally filled in around 12:30pm. Six races were completed in all.
Congratulations to Beaufort High School for winning the regatta!
