The day started very breezy, about 20 knots, with 3-4 foot waves. One full A/B rotation was completed and the sailors headed in for lunch and to rest. There were many capsizes but with the help of coaches and rescue boat everyone made it to shore safely. A second rotation was completed later in the afternoon in about 14 knots and 2 foot waves, with no capsizes. Sailors with little experience did not sail in the afternoon. It was a challenging day but it was a wonderful experience builder for sailors who don't normally sail in heavy conditions. As this was a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100% of the registration and donation money went directly to the foundation, thanks to the generous support of endless volunteers and sponsors.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
