MISSA East Baker Pre-Quals

Pretty amazing day in Columbus! 56 races and a full double round robin in the bag. The top 5 teams move on to the Gold fleet tomorrow morning with the top 3 teams separated by 1 victory. Great WNW winds 5-12 knots and seasonable temperatures made it a great day on the water. The sailors were treated to a pizza party at the end of the day!

Many thanks to Jamie Jones for running the early round robin and Doug Squires for running the 2nd. The kitchen crew was awesome and many thanks for the 3 coaches (East Grand Rapids and Olentangy Liberty) that helped umpire races, along with our CHUMP.

Looking forward to Gold and Silver fleet races tomorrow morning.

A cooler day in Central Ohio greeted the 8 teams this morning to complete the MISSA East Baker Pre-Qualifier. 10 Gold and 6 Silver fleet races completed the racing today With Grosse Point South taking the overall championship with a 16-2 record. Congratulations to Grosse Pointe South, East Grand Rapids and Grosse Pointe North for qualifying for the MISSA Baker Finals.
