NWISA Team Race - JV

After a 1000 competitors meeting, 14 JV teams headed onto the Lake in a light SW breeze, with major oscillations. Race one was started at 1130. 8 races were completed in sub-optimal breeze that had the RC moving the course orientation from W to S to E to N. By 1400 the fluky winds had receded and competitors postponed ashore in wait for the forecasted Northerly.

With a 8-10mph NNE finally filling in racing restarted at 1500. Racing continued throughout the afternoon and into the early evening in great consistent breeze, perfect for team racing.

Racing began at 0930 in a light NNE, but was postponed after just a handful of races. Races were restarted at 1230 in 6-8mph NNW breeze. Racing was completed up through race 75 of a 91 race round robin, and ended at 1530. Enough racing was done to declare top three schools for recognition on the podium at the end of the day.
