SAISA North #5 - Beaufort

Summary

Saturday, March 4:

Thanks to Junior Sailing of Beaufort and the Beaufort Yacht and Sailing Club for hosting the event. Also thanks to all the volunteers that prepped the boats and site and worked on the race committee.

Racing started on time with good wind from the Northeast (10-15 mph). As racing progressed the wind started shifting to the right and lightening. The RC delayed the final two races to allow the wind to fill in and was able to get the final B division races completed successfully.

The RC decided to finish racing at that point due to the time and changing wind conditions. Boats and sails were stowed properly. The regatta chairman concluded the regatta by thanking the volunteers and handing out the awards.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
