Twenty-seven varsity teams competed, A division in FJ's and B division in 420's. Twelve trapezoid races were sailed in each division. Winds were from the NNE to NNW, randomly shifting throughout the day, with velocities ranging from 4 knots to 8 knots. Sailing in the Bayboro Harbor was tricky, and a strong tidal current was also a factor.
Four requests for redress were heard and granted, one protest was filed resulting in a DSQ.
Congratulations to winning team Ransom Everglades, and thank you to the USF team members and to SPYC for a successful regatta.
