2017-2018 PCISA SoCal 4 Gold

26 teams in both Gold and Silver enjoyed a great regatta at ABYC during Super Bowl weekend. Saturday featured light but contestable 5-8 knot breeze that started around noon and blew all day, allowing PRO Allie Blecher and her awesome crew of volunteers to run 8 gold races. Sunday dawned hot and glassy, but by 11:00 a.m., a light SW breeze filled in, allowing for four more races in each division. Trophies were wrapped up by 3:00, so most sailors and parents were able to make it home before dark for nachos and chili! Thanks to our host venue, Alamitos Bay Yacht Club, and to all of the parents and volunteers from Poly, Wilson, and Sato who helped make things run smoothly. Next stop: San Diego Yacht Club, for our final SoCal on March 24th-25th.
