The AYC Varsity Fleet Race started off with sunny skies and 5-10 knots of wind. As the day went on the wind died to around 5 knots. For race 9 the wind picked up again and the wintery mix started.
We were able to complete 9 full races with A and B division sailing on the same start line. There were two protests, both resulting in DSQs and there was one race where a sailor withdrew after finishing.
