Christian Brothers Academy (Lincroft, NJ) celebrated 10 years of sailing as a school-sponsored, varsity sport with a regatta featuring a mix of alumni and current sailors. Current UPenn sailor and CBA alumnus Joe LaForgia '17 with sophomore John Cocozza emerged victorious. For second place, current CBA coach Jason Lutz & incoming freshman Ryan Ehnot won a three-way tie with Kyle Magno '14 & Kyle Lavin '15 and Jonathan Lutz '13 & sophomore Joe David.
Longtime CBA coach Jody Lutz served as PRO with assistance from members of the CBA varsity team. Mike Ehnot Sr. and Bob Maes helped patrol the course. Thank you to everyone who came out to sail and spectate! A special thanks to Toms River Yacht Club, Ocean County College and the NJISA League for supporting CBA Sailing throughout the past 10 years.
