The day started very shifty with 30-50 degree shifts during the first A and B division sets. Then the breeze clocked 90 degrees, died out and the rain started during the middle of A Division’s second set. A Division took a break to wait for the breeze to fill in while they enjoyed lunch. Late in the afternoon, the breeze started slowly filling 180 degrees from where it had started. Because of the time and tide restraints, B Division headed out for their 3rd race. Breeze stayed relatively consistent the rest of the afternoon letting A and B division get 2 more races completed. A and B division were able to finish 4 races each even though the weather and wind were less than perfect.
Thank you very much to Duxbury coaches Peter Graceffa, Hannah Knighton, and Jackie Schattgen, who ran races and endlessly moved the course while the breeze shifted. Also, Thank you to Jessica Williams and Charlie White for keeping the competitors well fed and happy during the trying conditions.
Congratulations to the top five Manchester/Essex, Prout, Greenwich, Marblehead, and Wellesley who all move on to the Herreshoff finals at RWU May 12-13, 2018.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
