NJISA Wed Series #2

Summary

Wednesday, March 28:

With temperatures finally hovering around 50 degrees, 10 New Jersey schools, making up 14 teams, completed four races on the first sailable Wednesday of the spring season. The A division races were completed in a nice 5-8 knot southerly, before the B division was treated to two shifty and light races.

Southern Regional used race wins in two of the four races to win the short day. Rumson-Fair Haven 1 was second, followed by St. Augustine Prep in third. Southern topped the A division, while RFH won the tiebreaker over Southern in the B division.

Thank you to Matt Goetting of Sailorcise for running today's races and Dave Magno for patrolling the course. As always, our gratitude to TRYC and OCC for use of the facility and fleet.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
