On the eighth week of the NJISA Wednesday Series, 16 teams from 13 area schools completed eight W4 races in a light and shifty north-northeast breeze. A steady rain fell for much of the racing, giving the sailors their first "wet" race day of the season.
Southern Regional took the top two spots on the day, with Rams 1 winning by six points over Rams 2. Toms River North finished in third, taking a tiebreaker over Ranney. Rams 1 was first in A division, while Rams 2 was the top team in B division. Also of note, we welcomed the all-girls team from the Oak Knoll School for the first time.
Thank you to Matt Goetting for getting soaked and running today's races. Dave Magno threw the spray top on and patrolled the course once again. TRYC and OCC graciously provided the facility and fleet.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
