The day started out with the breeze out of the NNW at about 7-10 knots with oscillating shifts left and right but not too much to stop racing. We had a beautiful day of sun and breeze to run the first team race event of the spring season! St. Mary's started off strong and kept it up all day winning every race. South River was a close second only losing one race to St. Mary's. We had Two Navy Mishipman come over and help us out with umpiring as well as two other very qualified umpires helping with calls on the course. Mark Bennett was our PRO, and he did a great job with getting races off. SSA would like to thank everyone who had a hand in this event! We shook off the rust and it should be a great season.
