Twelve Varsity and three JV teams showed up to a very foggy morning in Sunbury Georgia. The Sand Gnats must not have liked our cold weather this winter and were out for vengeance. Along with the fog came a lack of wind in the morning. Teams congregated at the Sunbury Crab company which was a much more comfortable from a sand gnat perspective. The race committee started the day under postponement with a forecast of sea breeze to arrive sometime between noon and two. At 12:30 there were hint of the sea breeze moving into the area. The race committee pulled the postponement and requested a 1:00 pm launch with the intention of a 1:30 race. The first race started at 1:20 in a light Southeasterly breeze. The Southerly sea breeze had really filled in by the second race and competitors enjoyed an 8-12mph Southerly for the remaining races. Five races were completed in each division and competitors came off the water at 5:30.
Congratulations to Bishop Kenny who won the event!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
