Dense fog and light, variable winds kept sailors ashore under postponement until Noon. Eventually, a nice westerly between 8-12knts filled in on Lake Macatawa allowing for a total of eight races to be completed throughout the afternoon. No protest were filed and zero breakdowns reported.
Racing started promptly at 10am in light, shifty winds out of the east. Four more races were sailed in a light, oscillating breeze out of the east. Big thanks to all of our volunteers, competitors, and coaches for helping make the 2018 Tulip Regatta a success!
