18 teams descended on Hoover Sailing Club early Saturday morning to take part in the Westerville Classic regatta (an all time high for Ohio High School Sailing). Light winds, temperatures in the low 60s and good racing made for a great day on the water!
Lots of people helped make this regatta a success! Doug Squires (TWHS) as our PRO, Shilah Griffeth (WNHS) ran the kitchen, Sarah Hoctor (TWHS) Scoring and our overall leader Jamie Jones (WSHS) made sure everyone went away fat, tired and happy!
Congratulations to Rocky River, Westerville North and St. Ingatius for finishing top 3, and a special shout out to Put-in-Bay High School for making their way to Columbus from the island (Google it...) to sail in their first ever high school regatta.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
