Great day of sailing with a Southwest breeze of 15 to 22 knots. The sun was shining and temps in the low 80s.
41 races completed in Round 1.
Three umpires were on the water along with mark boats, Signal and finish boats.
Well the wind gods decided to take a holiday after finishing Round 1 this morning.
We attempted to at least get the gold round in but Mother Nature had her own ideas.
We then attempted to run the sail off but after 3 hours of waiting we opted to calculate a tie breaker.
Congrats to St. George School for winning the Founders Trophy.
