North Points #6 consisted of 19 Varsity, 1 JV, and 1 Composite team. Sailing was out of the Carolina Yacht Club in Charleston harbor. The first race started about 11am in a NE breeze of about 8knots. The ebb tide increased and the wind decreased during the first B set requiring a course adjustment. The breeze returned from the east and the set was completed in a dying breeze. The breeze continued shifting settling from the SE at about 6-8. 6A races and 6B races were completed with racing halted just before 5PM. One protest was upheld and one BDK was assigned. Thanks go to PRO Chip Till and his excellent team under difficult conditions. Thank you to Judges Patrick Chisholm and Warren Collier. A tremendous Thank You to the Carolina Yacht Club for use of their facilities as well as 6 additional boats added to the Charleston Community Sailing fleet of 13 boats.
