SAISA South Points #4 Varsity

Summary

Saturday, January 19:

South Points 4

Teams reported at 9:30AM for a competitors' meeting. Boats were launched at 10AM and races started by 10:30AM. There was beautiful weather, sunny with a southeast wind from 4 to 10 knots.

25 schools participated in the event with both varsity and junior varsity teams. Each team participated in 5 races. Everyone sailed in the c420s and to keep races competitive all boats used RE collegiate sails.

All of the sailors did an amazing job rotating and sailing through the small canal next to the dock. There were no protests or penalties throughout the entire event.

Congratulations to the H. B. Plant Panthers for winning the regatta.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
