A beautiful partly cloudy day on the Rappahannock River greeted 10 teams of sailors representing 5 schools. Very shifty southerly winds rolled down off of the soccer fields at 8-13 mph with slightly higher gusts. Seas were just a little lumpy.
Combined division scoring was used with A and B sailing together. Despite numerous course adjustments and general recalls due to constant wind shifts, sailors were able to complete 12 solid W-4 races.
Christchurch Team 1 took first place, followed in second place by Norfolk Collegiate Team 1, and Christchurch Team 2 in third place.
Thanks to Kieran O'Connell for running the races.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
