Ten teams from 8 schools competed on the Rappahannock River under partly cloudy skies with temperatures reaching almost 50 degrees. Initial NW winds of 15 to 18 mph with gusts higher precluded JV competition of the 8 reporting teams. Winds calmed to under 10 mph by the mid afternoon. Morning seas presented over 2 feet gradually laying down to a small chop.
A division sailed FJ's and B division sailed 420's on a shared the course with staggered starts. 10 races were completed in each division on a W-4 course.
Christchurch Team 1 captured first place, with Norfolk Collegiate Team 1 in second place followed by Poquoson High School in third place.
