After several weeks of cancellations, the NJISA Spring Wednesday Series finally received cooperation from Mother Nature with a beautiful 80-degree day on the Toms River. The first race was started in a light southerly before the breeze shifted west-southwest for the remainder of the afternoon. Eight W4 races were completed by 6:30 p.m.
Christian Brothers Academy was this week's winner by three points over Donovan Catholic. Ranney, Toms River North, and CBA's second team made up the rest of the top five. Toms River North won the A Division, while CBA won the B Division.
Thanks to CBA's Jody Lutz for serving as PRO and Dave Magno for patrolling the course. Of course, thank you to TRYC and OCC for use of the facility and the 420 fleet.
