NJISA 2021 Spring Tune-Up Regatta

Summary

Saturday, April 17:

The Spring Tune-Up Regatta saw 15 teams from 13 schools complete 16 W4 races on a cloudy and slightly chilly Saturday on the Toms River. The breeze bounced around from the northwest towards the southwest during the day, ranging from 6 to 12 knots.

Donovan Catholic used an ultra-consistent B Division to win the regatta by 18 points over second place Toms River North. CBA was five points behind North for third place, while Ranney and Southern Regional rounded out the top five. Donovan won the A Division tiebreaker over CBA, while also winning the B Division.

Thank you to Dr. Nunn and Dave Magno for serving as PRO and mark boat. As always, thank you to TRYC for allowing us to use the facilities, the BBYRA for the FJ fleet, and OCC for the 420s.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
