Summary

Saturday, March 20:

Seven high schools (nine teams) met at Fairhope Yacht Club under cloudy skies and shifty winds coming out of the East-Northeast. Committee completed three full rotations (12 races) on a mid-line start W1 course, about a half-mile in length. Races took about 20-25 minutes each. No protests recorded.

Sunday, March 21:

Clear skies and sunny. Day started out cold, with light shifty winds coming from the East. As it warmed up, the wind tracked left all day until it settled out of the North-Northwest and built to 12-15 knots. Several early races had to be abandoned, due to 40 degree shifts. The teams sailed two full rotations (8 races) for the day, and all racing was clean with no protests recorded.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
